the highest air temp recorded is 134 but that was in 1913 way before the huge spike in co2.
now its 130 and its the end of the world.
I live in south central Texas and this has been one of the coolest and wettest summers in memory. Days are around 88 to 92 in July. Earth's temperature average hasn't changed. It just moves around a bit here and there.
I hope more and more people opt to turn the news off. The media is the single most destabilizing entity on the planet right now.

If a person were discussing getting a serious medical procedure and the doctor started talking about putting puzzles together as a child & refused to provide even one scientific example supporting his recommendation to do surgery, many people would feel uncomfortable about it. This would be especially true if a person had been previously abused by authority figures in the past.
Sounds like you need to do some more research.

my favorites include the (english) revised version bible (of 1881-1885) and its apocrypha (of 1898), the american revised version bible (of 1898, it close to the american standard version), the american standard version bible (of 1901), the new american standard bible - updated edition, the new revised standard version bible with the apocrypha, the complete bible: an american translation (it includes the apocrypha), and the twentieth century new testament.
i also use others beside those.. they are my favorites because i consider them to be highly accurate, and also they are either very literal (but not so literal as to be hard to understand) or they use functional equivalence.

in basic journalism one learns to ask the right questions which in my years here, i've never hear asked.. who, what, where, by what help, by whose help, why, how and when.

There are still some evangelist faiths which criticize the JWs for denying the 'bodily resurrection of Christ' and draw the parallel to Docetism.
ALL Christian faiths condemn the JW's for denying this foundational event. Originally, many believers weren't so much following a person as they were following an event - The Resurrection of Jesus in the heart of Judaism, Jerusalem.

Failure to believe this is equivalent to a forfeiture of salvation. The WT goes out on a limb here for no apparent reason.... unless their objective is to deny salvation to people.
Apparently, just denying the New Covenant "for the forgiveness of sins" every Memorial may not be enough; so, just to make sure, they deny the resurrection as well.
i keep hearing that the watchtower org is going to be around forever because of the many other religions that have been around a long time.
but i disagree because the wt is not like other religious cults.. the watchtower's breath of life is dependent on the last days that started in 1914. .
you can’t change 1914 without a death blow to the entire organization.. the watchtower's 2nd reason for staying alive, is it's continual urging that the life saving preaching work of warning people is the most important work ever.. but- it's very obvious to many, even the old ones that instead of speeding up the work------the work is slowing down to a drip.. comment by former believer; .
